The school has close links to our local churches and ministers and parishioners from these churches regularly lead our acts of worship. Each term we are visited by our amazing Open the Book team who bring the Bible alive through their lively acts of worship.

We have close links to the schools within our local DSAT hub: Wimborne St. Giles First School, Cranborne First School and Trinity First School.

St. James’ First School draws on a range of Nurseries and Pre-school settings in the local area, but principally from The Cottage Nursery, which is on site and also provides breakfast, after school and holiday clubs which are perfect for our working parents.

The majority of our children transfer to St. Michael’s Middle School, Colehill, after Year 4 and some will also transfer to Allenbourne, in Wimborne. Our Pyramid Upper School is Queen Elizabeth School. Parents can access the Pyramid website via our Links page.
